Today I wanted to share something a little different with you, and that is some of the best money affirmations for attracting more wealth in your life.

Money affirmations are simple yet powerful statements you can use to change your mindset around money and manifest financial abundance.

It might seem hard to believe at first. Can repeating money affirmations really make you wealthier? I know I was skeptical too. But the answer is yes! Money affirmations can help you change your mindset and attitudes towards money, and become more receptive to receiving abundance in your everyday life.

No, it’s not like saying a few words and waving a magic wand and instantly making more money from your business or receiving a surprise check in the mail. But I’ll explain exactly how using money affirmations does work below.

 

What Are Money Affirmations?

Money affirmations (also called money mantras) are short, positive statements of desired goals in their completed state. In the case of money affirmations, they are affirmative statements about you and wealth, money, and abundance.

By repeating money affirmation, you can internalize new attitudes and feelings towards money, and erase the old, negative stories. Many people have subconscious “money blocks” that keep them living in scarcity and lack.

However, money affirmations can help undo your money blocks and reprogram your brain to welcome and accept abundance instead.

Money affirmations are phrased in the positive, never the negative. They are also present tense, not future tense. For example, instead of saying “I will stop spending money on things I don’t need”, you would want to phrase it as “I spend money only on what brings me joy.” Treat it as if it’s already a fact.

 

How Do Money Affirmations Work?

Affirmations work within the conscious and subconscious mind.

At first, when you repeat money affirmations, you might feel a little silly or not believe what you are saying. That’s normal! But the more you repeat them, feel them, and visualize that what you are saying has already come to pass, the more you internalize your new money mindset and create a new reality.

There are various ways to use money affirmations. You can repeat them out loud, or grab a pen and paper and write them down. I like to do both.

I write my favourite money affirmations and the ones that resonate most with me in my planner, and I repeat them out loud to myself.

You can repeat money affirmations as often as you’d like. For the best results, I would start by doing them daily, and then weekly once you’re in a routine.

One excellent technique is the 777 method, where you write seven affirmations in the morning and seven affirmations at night every day for seven days.

Money Affirmation Hacks

As promised, here are two more tips for incorporating money affirmations into your daily life and programming them into your subconscious mind.

The first is using your favourite money affirmation as your password!

I do this so that every time I type in my password for my phone, email, banking accounts, and other online accounts, I repeat the affirmation to myself.

Obviously, you want to make your password secure, so I recommend modifying it a bit. Let’s say the affirmation you want to use for your password is I am a money magnet. You could make your password iamamm777! to ensure it’s secure.

Another effective idea is to set your favourite money affirmation as your phone background. This way, you will see it every time you look at your phone. And let’s be real, how many times is that each day? Probably one hundred or more!

You can use a free graphic design program like Canva to make your own phone wallpaper with a pretty font and background. Or search Pinterest for some premade ones you can download and start using right away.

These two strategies are super easy ways to start using money affirmations.
