250+ Best Affiliate Programs for Bloggers
Are you looking for the best affiliate programs for bloggers?
Affiliate marketing is one of my favorite ways to make money blogging.
The great thing about affiliate marketing is that it can be passive income. Once you write a blog post with affiliate links in it, you can continue to earn passive income from it for months or even years into the future.
Many affiliate programs offer high commission rates that make it easy to earn quite a bit of money per sale that you generate.
But what are the best affiliate programs for bloggers?
I’ve saved you the trouble of searching for the best affiliate programs by putting together my own master list of affiliate programs for every niche.
Below you can sign up for my free list of more than 250+ affiliate programs.
What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is an arrangement where a company that sells a product or service pays a commission to affiliates (that’s you!) for all sales generated by the affiliate through their blog or other online channels.
As an affiliate, you will receive a special tracking link which is how sales will be attributed to you. The commission you earn may be a percentage or a flat fee.
You are typically paid for all affiliate sales you generate on a monthly basis, and the most common payment methods are PayPal or bank direct deposit.
What Are Affiliate Programs?
Affiliate programs are run by a company and it’s what you join to start making money from affiliate marketing. For example, Amazon has its own affiliate program called Amazon Associates that is very popular with bloggers.
When you join the Amazon affiliate program, you’ll be able to earn money by promoting any product on Amazon. The commission rates are on the low end (typically 2% to 10% depending on the product category) but you can more than make up for that in sheer volume of sales since Amazon is such a big name.
Smaller companies may also run their own independent affiliate programs.
However, it’s equally likely that you’ll discover affiliate networks.
What Are Affiliate Networks?
Some affiliate programs are run through an affiliate network, which allows affiliates to access hundreds of affiliate programs in one place.
Rather than signing up for a single independently-run affiliate program (like Amazon), you will be joining a network like ShareaSale, Impact, Skimlinks, or Awin, all of which offer you access to dozens or even hundreds of affiliate programs for well-known large brands as well as smaller independent brands.
I often prefer affiliate networks because I can keep track of multiple affiliates in one place. Since many affiliate programs have a small minimum payment threshold, it’s also easier to reach that with an affiliate network.
How to Join Affiliate Programs
To join an affiliate program, you will need to apply first.
It is generally not difficult to get approved for most affiliate programs. The only thing you will need is a self-hosted blog with at least a few blog posts published.
If you haven’t started a blog yet, you can read my guide on how to start a blog in under an hour for just $2.95 a month with Bluehost.
Once you have a blog, you can apply for affiliate programs. If you’re having trouble finding where to sign up for a certain company’s affiliate program, you can just Google the company’s name plus “affiliate program” to find it.
Signing up for affiliate programs is free. Some programs will accept you automatically, while others might require a quick review of your blog first.

How Many Affiliate Programs Should I Join?
If you download the free list above, you’ll see 250+ affiliate programs.
You don’t need to join that many programs though! Over the years, I have actually worked with about 50 different affiliate programs. Some of them have changed or closed, or they have just no longer been a good fit for my blogs.
Currently, on Blogging Her Way, I work with about a dozen affiliate programs. Most of these are blogging-related (like web hosting companies, WordPress themes, online courses for bloggers, blogging tools, and so on.)
This is actually a lot of affiliate programs though! On my other two blogs (one is in the travel niche, the other is in the lifestyle niche), I just work with two or three affiliate programs and keep it very streamlined over there.
So I’d say start off with choosing just a few affiliate programs to join, and then you can expand or test out others to see what performs best for you.
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing
I highly recommend that all bloggers who want to earn an income from affiliate marketing invest in the Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing course.
Michelle, the creator of the course, is a personal finance blogger who earns $50,000 a month from affiliate marketing. Investing in this course really helped me grow my own income from affiliate marketing, because I have been able to apply Michelle’s tips and strategies that she uses on her blog to my own blogs.
I actually more than doubled my affiliate sales in one month after implementing everything I learned from the course on my blog. You can read more about my results in my review of the course. Or you can check out my interview with Michelle if you want to learn more about Michelle’s story first.
